Default wiring help please: 12v ignition switch + wire?

So I just got my boost gauge in the mail, and unlike the two-wire stewart warner one I got last time, this one has 3. It wants a "12v lighting", "12v ignition switch(+)", and a ground. For the 12v lighting, I was planning on using the light blue wire for the dimmer for the interior lights, and the ground is easy. Just wondering what I need to tap for the ignition switch (+), if there was one in the same harness/bundle as the interior dimmer. Thanks

anyone know a good ignition switch+ wire I can tap local to the light blue wire...?

mine was great, i just went with something different (aka cheaper) this time. My only issue with the sw gauge was that it becuase it was pretty deep the boost/vac line had to take a stiff cornerin the elbow of the vent so it kind of wanted to pop back out, but it was fine after a bit. I ended up getting the brighter of the two led options, and to me it was a lil too bright. I do reccomend getting an lcd over an incandecent though.

You just need a source that has 12v when the car is on. There are plenty in the same spot as the dimmer. Hell, thecluster lights are always on, you should be able to use that for both.

Thanks, I get that I just want a switched power source,b ut do you happen to know which wire I should tapfor that lead? I dont remember if there are differences, but for clarification, I have an 01 225 roadster. Threw the pic from blue ttop in for reference, maybe you know which of those wire colors is a good choice. If I had a voltmeter, wouldnt waste peoples time, since I dont, figured I woud ask

I tapped into the same ground and i dont mind having mine lit up all the time so i just tapped into the power line going to the fuse box in the kick panel. Perfect if you need constant power or dont mind having it lit, plus my first gauge had the 3 wires and i just hooked up the red and black andcut the orange one, but you can hook it up to the dimmer if you like.

Yeha i got the orange, black, red, black will go to the ground indicated, orange to the light blue, but is power line or other acceptable source visible in that pic? I can hunt around later if not

I picked up a 2-blade fuse adapter, plugged it in an ignition-on fuse slot, ran a length to the meter, ran a ground line back to the fuse block and done. My guage is mirrored soit needs light even duringthe day. If I remember, one of the bolt/screw heads along the top of the fuse block is a ground ...had a different color to it. The two-blade adapter was like Autozone or something..$3, allows you to keep the original fuse and add second.
