yeah mine is mirrored too, thus the need for the illumination. Since it needs that, I guess it doesnt make much sense to tie it into the dimmer wire. Do you mean something like this? http://news.thomasnet.com/fullstory/452713 . What existing fuse do you recommend doing this with, and what fuse should I get for the second slot if any.Thanks a ton

Yup, that's the ticket. Pick any low draw circuit that's hot when the ignition's on only, I think I tapped a 10amp, used a 3 amp for the gauge.

thanks alot, good info, seems safer than tying into dimmer or to the crazy like 20 30 amp posts down low. will post a pic later this week when i actually have an hour or two off.

acutally i just stuck the wire into an empty slot and closed the cover saves in perfect hide the wire nice and it works greatttt Kinda shitty way to do it but i couldnt find a adapter so either way works

I would like to just buy a fuse tap and fuse (something small like 5amps)and stick it in an empty slot that powers on with ignition. which bladeside is the hot and which side is fused in our tt's, and what empty slot would be a good choice, also do we have mini, ato, or maxi size fuses?
