Default Would 18x9 rims fit on the tt?

I'm looking to buy new rims for my tt. I'v only had it for a month or two now and do not know alot about the tt's. Would I have any problems fitting 18x9 wheels on the car?? Thanks

Depends on the offset of the wheel.

they will fit but you will need spacers and that depends on how wide you want to be spaced. But they will fit as long as the have 5x100 bolt pattern

What makes you think he'll need spacers??
18 inch rims are more than big enough to clear the brake calipers...

It depends on the offset to see if they will rub against the wheel well or not...
Considering he's not lowered I doubt it will be a problem, but it doesn't hurt to know the offset to be certain.

You don't need spacers unless your looking for a widebody look. I'm running a 19 x 9.5 in the rear and a 19 x 8.5 up front and they clear fine. You can even run a 20 if you want to, but lowering the vehicle then becomes an issue with clearence in the rear.

Typical offset is 35 on the TT. If you only have FWD instead of the Quattro, check with a shop because I believe the rear end is a little different when dealing with spacers (widebody look only)
