01 A4 2.8 intermittent no start
2001
A4

5 speed
214,000 miles
So I am lost please help if you can! I got my car repaired the vacuum leaks and she runs great! But if I make more than 3 stops some times 2 and shut her off she won't start. New fuel pump, and relay no CELs. If I let her sit for a little while she starts right up and acts like nothing happened. I don't get it. If I leave her running after first startup she will stay running. I don't shut her down unless I'm going to stay a while.

It might be the coolant temp sensor. That will randomly cause no-start issues, especially after running for a while, turning off, then attempting to turn on again.
Not an expensive part and doesn't take too long to fix as long as you know where it is. A bit of a PIA to do though.
