01 A4 2.8Q - suggestions requested (2 issues)
Hello,
I have a 2001 A4 2.8Q AWD.
The Sunroof does not slide... If I push the button it tilts back but it will not slide. It was working & all of a sudden it stopped. What can I do to bring back full functionality?
When I go to fill up gas it takes a long, long time. It fills up maybe $.50 at a time before it clicks... its very annoying & I have no idea what the problem is.
Any suggestions?

If the sunroof does not slide at all, you'll likely need a switch

Your tank is likely not venting, possibly due to a sticky or clogged valve. When you push the flap at the filler neck, you should hear a "click in or around the tank." Another possibility is a damaged fill hose. Look in the filler neck for damage.

I tried cleaning the switch by putting the contact spray from RD. The switch is not the problem, when I turn the switch to open the sunroof it moves & tries to open but it cant & moves back. What could the problem be? Is there something that can get stuck & prevent it from being moved?
