I don't know anything about the swap but apparently 2.7tt into a v6 a4 is fairly easy...

It'll bolt in. It won't be cheap. It'll require a lot of parts. The Search feature will reveal many, many posts and threads where this has been asked already.

It can definitely be done but it may be worth you checking around and looking into selling your car and buying an S4 instead - that way, you get the benefits of the better suspension and interior, the extra gear in the transmission, the benefit (in many of our opinions) of the better-looking front end, HID headlights as standard equipment, etc etc. All of that can be added to your car as well, but it's that much more money.

As for a part-out, I see more S4s being parted out in the Audi Classifieds forum on www.vwvortex.com than here or anywhere else. You'd probably be best served finding one that was in an accident and is being offered as-is, so you'll have the ECU, wiring harnesses, intercoolers and piping, etc. You'll see how they're assembled so you'll have an image of it when you swap everything over into your existing car, and you won't have to hunt around for certain parts during your swap.

I've never come across a writeup on any of the forums. You're probably going to be figuring it out as you go. That car above is only one of two S4 conversions I've heard of. Most just sell their A4 and buy an S4.

what all are you keeping from it? may be interested in buying some parts if you'd be selling some...
