I have noticed that over the last few months, I seem to be using oil. I have always installed Mobil 1, and never had any engine isses. There is about 88,000 miles on the car. Engine runs great.

Today when I changed the oil, I was probably 2 quarts down (or at least it seemed, it wasn't registering on the dipstick). I didn't see any leaks, nor have I noticed anything on the driveway. I don't see black or grey smoke coming out the exhause, and last week I passed the California smog check without a problem.

Its either has a high oil comsuption or the rings are worn. You should do a compresson test and see if it is the rings. If its not, swapping to a heavier oil will help prevent it from burning off
