The smaller of my two fans near the radiator spins waaaaaay tooo fast, even when the car is not on, just turned to "start" it spins so fast that I can hear it inside the car, and feel the air by the emblem on the grill. I called audi and they said it was most likely electrical. Anyone had this happen before?

 

The smaller fan usually only comes on with the AC, so you might have some tye of wiring problem if it is coming on all the time.

 

smaller fan comes on just at the end of the mid temp to help cool. Also comes on if the ECON button on your temp control settings is not lit up. I would check the relay, maybe its bad? or even the coolant temp sensor.
