Hi there im new to this so please excuse any mistakes.

I have a 1999 A4 (B5) 1.8T sport on an X
I have a friend who is scrapping a 2.4 a4 b5 and he has a beast
of an exhaust with twin exit pipes and i was wondering if it can be adapted
to fit my car. I know the front section splits into two because the 2.4 is twin manifold. All i need to know is if i can make it fit as far as pipe diameters and such. PS i am willing to butcher my original exhaust or the one in question to make it fit so cutting, welding and new flanges are ok with me lol

with enough cutting, welding, and fabbing, anything will fit.

 

i think you might mean 2.8 and why would you want the exhaust off of that if its stock its the same diameter and would take a lot of work to make it fit

Should have been more specific.
The exhaust im wanting to know if it will fit is a Cobra after market exhaust and the car it used to be on was a show car and sounded amazing.
I know its not going to sound the same but should sound better than the stock 1.8T lol.

oh your from across the pond well i mean you can check my youtube page to see video's of my exuaste mod's i have done with the stright pipe but anything about a 2.4 i have no idea
