without software for it, you cant just slap on a MBC and crank it up. that is a great way to blow your engine. i dont know what year your car is but im pretty sure there is K04 software for any and all types of B5's. GIAC is a good name.

you CAN run a k04 on your chipped k03 software you have now as long as you dont try to mess with the boost pressure and whatnot. it will still run as if you had a k03 in there because the 3 and 4 are pretty similar. you can NOT increase power without different software and getting bigger injectors.

the shop is part of an apr sponsorship, well known shop called USP Motorsports...im apr tuned for the k03, and apparently apr doesnt have software for the k04 setup and the shop cant perform chip tuning from any other company or it would void their sponsorship, this shop is the shop ive been going to for years and i really would not have anyone else work on my car in the area...just a bunch of indian tuning tint shops(no offense for anyone out there) and i have heard pretty negative things about the other shops...i guess would there be a way if i got injectors 4bar fpr electronic boost controller AFRG and controller can i make it happen with dyno tuning?

you can tune just about anything on a dyno, you just need to know what your doing. i would go to GIAC or some other company that does k04 software and find the closest dealer on their site. if GIAC endorsed a shop to sell their product, that shop better be able to support their product. that would be easier to do then dyno tuning. or just mail out your ECU, its pretty safe and usualy 2-3 day turn around. the K04 has been done many times so the software is pretty solid for it. just about plug and play.

your auto trans will blow if you go anything bigger then a k04 and try to push the turbo, trust me I had a GT2871r on mine and it blew

not will blow, but any increase in power puts more stress on parts. same with manual cars. there are people running GT28 and GT30 series turbos on auto transmissions with no problems. sure a manual will be easier to fix and wont suck more power off the engine, but its not going to instantly explode just because you put a larger turbo on it.
