1996 audi a4 2.8 v6 5 speed cranks but no start

the car was running great had a hard time starting it once. when i got it it needed a starter and i replaced it ran like a charm. any tips on what to do or what to check and how to check it would be much appreciated.

getting any codes?

could be fuel related, spark related, etc.

could be coolant temp sensor, crankshaft positions sensor.
