Thumbs down 1997 a4 2.8 stutter

hey guys recently i did the valve cover seals on my audi and a little after that i noticed when the car is warm it has a stutter like its about to cut off and die but then it catches back itself and continues reving fine itll do this freq while idling and when driving if i floor it the car performs as if its flooding? has a serious hesitation on take off.. any ideas what this could be? i also did a full tune up including cleaning the maf and throttle body, new spark plugs, new wires, and a new air filter.

Lots of possibilities. Here are some, not in any particular order.

Vacuum leak (bad lines, a connection that popped off, etc.)
Spark plugs
Ignition coil(s)
Fuel injector(s)
clogged fuel filter
clogged catalytic converter
bad/dirty MAF sensor
bad front O2 sensor(s) (does the v6 have 2 fronts? probably)
REALLY clogged air filter (doubt it though)

etc.

Got a check engine light?

I'd try Sea Foam through a vacuum line to start with.

Vac lines and also check the pcv system. Mine has an up and down idle sometimes and stalls. Last year had to take apart the pcv system and clean the throttle body and icv. This cured it but its back again so I am replacing other items..Suction pump etc. Car is sluggish and this only happens when winter hits.
