Hey, does anyone know if the covers are the same shape other than the holes for the headlight washers? Son wrecked my A4 Avant Quattro and have a line on a cheap bumper cover but it doesn't have the Washer holes. Can I cut holes in the new cover for my washers or are they completely different? There are so many other differences between 1.8 and 2.8 parts just not sure. Thanks

 

Engine choice won't matter but I think the avant bumper is different dimensionally than a sedan bumper (maybe someone can clarify this?). I don't think they're interchangeable between body styles but they will be between any avants, regardless of engine. And yes you should be fine just cutting holes for the sprayers, although all US OEM bumpers came with sprayers. Some aftermarket bumpers didn't - maybe that's what you found.

 

avant and sedan bumpers are definently different. and i wouldn't worry about vcutting holes just lose the washers altogether. cleaner look and they r worthless
