Hi,

I am looking at buying a 1999 A4 Quattro 2.8L with 195000 miles. It has the 5 speed transmission. As an Audi newbie, what should I look for on a vehicle of this age and mileage. According to the owner it has had extensive maintenance in the last year, including every suspension component, new wheel bearings, brake rotors and pads. The timing belt, thermostat, serpentine belt, and tensioners have also been replaced during the past year, along with various other parts.

I would appreciate any advice on this car.

If they indeed did buy all this stuff, there should be proof they paid for it
