1999 Audi A4 1.8t quattro not starting! Need help asap!
Honestly I'm not entirely sure... Theoretically if the timing belt and tensioner appear to both be intact and functioning then the timing belt should spin with the crankshaft. So unless the timing belt pulley on the crankshaft (whatever it's called) came loose, your crankshaft isn't spinning.

when you turn the key does the engine turn over? if yes, then does the timing belt not rotate? if yes then the tensioner most likely went bad. i would bet the tensioner went bad. you say all the other belts spin. if they do and the t belt doesnt, thats your problem
Is that any easy fix? Or is that something that could mess up more to the motor?
