Hey, i have a uk spec 95 audi a4 1.8t, before i left for deployment power stearing started acting up. So i had to park the car for 6 months now im back and it drove fine the first few weeks now i believe the pump has gone out now, it doesnt work it used to barley work, wouldnt work at idle but give a lil gas and it would start to work, anywas has anyone out there changed there on the audi how was it ? Going to try and do mine this week just would like some feedback if anyone ran into any problems.

what color is your power steering fluid, it should be green, if it's clear then that means someone put the wrong fluid in it which can ruin the seals in your pump and rack. Do you hear any whining coming from the pump and is your ps fluid foamy?
