I know this has been discussed many times but I want some closure here.

Thinking about dropping in the 2.0 fsi coilpacks on my 1.8qtm. Is this really a good idea? Who has actually seen gains? Does it really make the car idle/respond better or is more of a placebo. I got a friend who knows wtf he is doing with cars who insists that doing this is a really dumb idea.

Suppose i got the adapters, 2.0 fsi coilpacks and the plugs to go with it. Where would be a good gap to start at? .040?
