The title says it all. I got quoted $300 for the piping to stock muffler. Was wondering if this will give the deep quiet sound I'm looking for much like all of the cat backs made for our cars. I already have a test pipe. If this is a bad idea than what muffler would you suggest? Or just drop the $1000 for the apr cat back? Lol.

 

Can the shop making you a custom 2.5" exhaust?? Will cost less than $1000...

 

I have 2.5" coming from the stock piping going into a custom exhaust. Absolutely love it. There's a sound clip on the first page of my update thread.
