Its about $200 for braided steel oil lines like the OP for just one turbo. I thought you have done this before? You can shave a couple $$ if you use aeroquip lines, but they dont look as nice.

where would you of put a gt40? If those are 3071r's, the .64 housings he is using should be fine for 3cyl and 1.4L while making the same power, probably more, than a gt40 would.
i still want to know where he stuffed 2 gt30's [>:]
Judging from this picture, it looks to me like they're stuffed behind the engine above the transmission.

please dont take this the wrong way but wow i cant believe you actually would pay that. why do you guys let people rape you? you could make your own lines with an fittings (as it appears they did with this set up) for a total for $200. thats for both sides. I did all the plumming for my entire fuel system with an-10 and an-8 lines and it cost me less than $500 including the fitting up to the fuel pump.

not only that but what even happen to hard lines? imo they look fine, work just as well and they are WAY cheaper. the problem ive found with them is they can be a bit*h to put in sometimes.

on another note: how much would you 2.8 30v guys pay if someone made a kit similar to this but with gt28r turbos and no software?

The fittings cost a decent amount. First you need the fitting for the block for the -4 line, then the line, then the fittings and restrictor for the turbo. Then the turbo drain, -10 line, and then a new fitting for the pan. Parts add up when the fittings are $5-20.

Please GOD, tell me your joking about hardlines. Engine movement + hardlines = bad things.

It really doesn't matter if you have forged pistons if your still running a 2 bolt main.
If you up-graded to a 4 bolt main like the S4 has then you could push some serious power.

Unitronics is where i would start for a tune myself.
i could be completely wrong here but are you sure they dont use the same blocks for the 2.7t as the 2.8? ive seen exterior pictures for both and they look identical. the 2.8l even has the ports for the oil return but they car blocked off by a plastic cap.

nope not kidding. the turbo move with the engine in most setups. ive seen a million billion trillion (well a bunch) of turbo setups that use hard lines. some cars even come with them from the factory....off the top of my head...saab 2.0t, Grand nationals, some ford powestrokes....

as for the soft lines, i like how these fittings look. its what i used on my fuel system.

for the fittings (i like how the black fittings look):

for the line (i also like black lines but they dont make the in an-4):

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...45139_-1_10019

lets see 2 an-4 fittings 2 X $8, 2 an-10 fittings, 2 X $10.50, 3 feet of an-10, $21.50 3 feet of an-4 line $16. thats what... like $75, i just saved you a bunch of money.

Its the same size block, but its not even close to the same thing. The 2.8L uses an aluminum block with2 bolt main, while the S4 uses a cast iron block with a 4 bolt main. WAAY stronger.

LOL, you saved me a bunch of money? Your still missing the fitting for the block and oil pan. Both are over $15. WHere are the turbo fittings? Thats another $35. Yes, you can make your own lines for less, but not where your thinking.
