Default 2.8 performance mods?

ive heard a from a number of people that its hard to tune a 2.8 to make it fast. My car is a dog and all wheel drive is there any mods to the motor besides intake and full exhaust that can be done.

Man, I asked those same questions when I first joined and the short answer is no. I say that because you can't do the one thing that will make your car get a substantial hp increase which is the supercharger from PES. Honestly, if you are looking for a car to make fast, get a 1.8TQ. It has a lot more options to modify performance wise.

2.8s are slow rollers. I accepted it. I love it now.

Why make it harder for the ladies to see the man behind the machine.

Remove coolant cap, roll a Stage 3 S4 under it, and replace the coolant cap. Done. Otherwise, spend huge money to fab something, spray it, or accept that it's slow.

well unless you know what you're doing with fabs, i wouldn't do the rear mount turbo. the only things you can do is nitrous or find somebody who has a SC kit for the 12v because they used to make them a long time ago. or do you're own SC setup. there's a lot of options but not a lot of bolt on options. personally, i wouldn't do anything to the 12v because it's not worth the time and money

I'm pretty sure that guy only had it rear mounted as a temporary setup then moved it under the hood..
op, intake and full exhaust won't make you noticeably faster. just lower it. low and slow ftw
