first off my dad bought a "Accelerator horsepower enhancer" chip thing for $50 off ebay just wondering if that was crap or not

second i have been looking everwhere for a muffler or something that will make her growl a little more and complement the K&N, do i need to buy a muffler for a different audi and just put that on? or anything to get more HP between $100-$200

 

First answer - that thing your dad bought is most likely crap. If the car goes faster it's because his wallet is lighter by $50.

Second, read the sticky posts at the top of the forum - they'll tell you everything you need to know about the 2.8 and its power potential.

 

Tell him good work buying a $.10 resistor (actually, they're less than a penny each when bought in large quantities) for $50!

 

as already stated...
1. That chip is garbage. Dont let it anywhere near your vehicle. Go with speedtuning chip if you want more power
2. You can get a magnaflow but it is recomended you put in bigger exhaust piping.
