speedtuning is cheap and a great chip. you should check them out as well. a bunch of us got a group buy on it, and we got a great deal. i think if u called speedtuning and tell them you want the gb price from audiforums.com he might give you that price. or u can look for it on ebay.

depends on what your future plans are with the car. are u planning to go k04 or BT (Big Turbo)?

the general consensus is that if you just want to get your car chipped, then go to the closest APR, GIAC, or Unitronic dealer to you. that way if mistakes are made they are close by to fix the problem.

if you get speedtuning you'll have to mail your ecu to them and if problems occur you will have to deal with things by mail and over the phone. most people have been happy with it though and only a couple people have experienced minor issues.

your right about Neuspeed, but GIAC is actually pretty freaking awesome and is very aggressive. the k03 turbo makes top end power suck

giac is good if you want to upgrade your turbo later on to a k04 or eliminator. they offer cheap reflashes if you already have the software. if you have no plans on doing that, speedtuning will save you some cash.

I've got GIAC with the flashloader switcher and I'm extremely happy with it.

Never had any experience with SpeedTuning but everyone who has them are happy with them plus you'll save a lot of money.

At the end, it depends on what you're planning to do in the long run. APR, GIAC, AWE, Unitronics have shops that will back up these chips with free re-flashing/re-programing incase things go wrong with them.

I have the GIAC and I love it. I have been out of the chipping world so I am not familiar with Speedtuning. Their prices look good, but what kind of number are they giving?

ST FTW

havent had any troubles. pulls hard (for a k03) i have had it since the group buy (probably sept?) and still am having fun with it

of course i want more now though, ha. but its great having 200chp. ( better than the majority of stock cars in the 2000 era)
