2000 1.8t chips
Sorry to bump old threads but I have a few questions. I just got a chip from speedtuning. I drive a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro. Should I still get a better diverter valve? I was looking into Bailey ones.
My main question here is how to install the chip. Is it straight forward remove old put new in?

no worries bro
with speed tuning u usually ship out your ecu to them and the will flas it with new software and send it right back to you..its like a 2-4 day process depending were ur at..
and yea i would get a new dv...with the added boost that old one will crap out on you
i would either get a 710 wich is probably the cheapest
or any thing made by forge....
good luck bro ope that helps..

Thanks nova! Yea, I just found out about sending in the ECU. Anyone have a link for a good diverter valve place to buy?
Thanks for any help.
ps Is the car drivable without the ECU?
