Default 2000 A4 1.8T w/ 89,000 for $6500 - Good Deal?

I am looking for a car right now and am very interested in getting an Audi. I found a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. It has 89,000 miles on it and very recenlty had timing chain service. The car looks like it is in great shape and I am pretty sure it has the Sports Package. They are asking $6,500 for it. Is this a good deal? I really want the car, but one of my friends told me that Audis seem to have alot of problems and they are hard to repair and expensive. I was just wondering from people that have them, is that true or are they pretty reliable cars. Lastly, is there anything in particular I should look for or ask about when I go to see the car?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Kevin

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Have it checked out (tires, etc). I'm guessing it's stick?

from my personal experiance with my one audi, i've found it is a very bad idea to buy an audi with an unkown history. If they are properly maintained, however, i've read that they can be very reliable cars. Even so, parts are expensive, labor is expensive(although fairly easy to DIY), although probably around the same as a same year benz/bimmer.
