2000 A4 2.8 Exhaust
Hey I have a 2000 A4 2.8L and I havnt been able to find any manufactures that make exhausts for the 2.8. Will an exhaust from the 1.8 T fit the 2.8? If not any suggestions

no, 1.8 has 1 down pipe, 2.8 has 2.
theres a bunch of exhausts out there. look into maybe custom magnaflow, or miltek. i think neuspeed or borla has an exhaust for the 2.8
im not sure but i think the s4. 2.7T exhaust might bolt up to a 2.8
heres a miltek

I too am addressing the issue of love for the 2.8.
My exhaust will hopefully make it through 1 more winter (fingers crossed) I have been trying to compose a list of what is exactly needed to complete the exhaust and after tallying everything up, it's not going to be cheap. Unfortunately my flex pipes have rusted out, they are still on but I hear a leak, the bracket to the rear muffler just rusted out and the entire pipe looks like it has had 13 hard years of service under the car.
I'm hoping that after ordering all the necessary parts and piping that my buddy and I will be able to weld everything up and be done with it. But I have a feeling my car will fight me every which way she can.
I know that the 2.8 isn't a highly modded car but that shouldn't mean that there should be a lack of support from the aftermarket for a simple cat back or full exhaust. There are plenty of 2.8's on the road. I'd even settle for a decent OEM cat back, I can't even find that at a reasonable price. Ugh!!!! (sorry for the rant)

meinike will do it. and any tuner shop should be able to. look around online for some shops. buy a muffler online and bring it to a shop they will be able to do something. where in indy are you? theres a member here that works at a euro shop idk if he does exhaust tho. ill have to ask him

Idk how many people have gone to magnaflows website but they have a section where u can volunteer a car for new exhaust systems.. I put my car on the list (96) so if enough of us can email them and bug them about the 2.8 exhaust they might pick my car and they might actually design an exhaust system for the 2.8 and be the first on the market to design a full exhaust... So let's get it going, I know u want exhaust and I want a free one, so let's get it going... Let's all bomb rush magnaflow!
