Default 2000 Audi A4 2.8 30V (Build)

So i purchased a 2000 A4 30V this past summer and figured i would create thread to track my progress, get feedback and advice for upgrades, and any criticism yall have.

This is how it sat when i first purchased it in August
Mileage 215000

I put some rims i had on my 1996 A4 12V for remainder of summer

Engine bay had broken plastics, stock intake, no top plastic, and overall looked worn out so i bought new plastics, and put on intake, and gave engine bay some TLC

NOW fast forward a few months and major maintenance
-New Vacuum Control Pump
-New Front Control Arms
-New Front Right Axle
-New Brake pads, rotors, calipers

Car was running good and put her back in winter mode with stock Audi Rims. On my way to get some new tints a few weeks ago disaster struck. Started with a loud engine tick/knock so i pulled over. Couldnt figure it out in parking lot so i attempted to drive it home. About half way home i lost power steering function but the engine knock disappeared.(serpentine belt pulley sheared off!) At this point i was about five miles from home so i decided to try to get home. As i was pulling down my road engine began to smoke and coolant began to leak everywhere. Long Story short...when i lost function from serpentine belt it stopped flow of coolant to engine block so there was a blown Head gasket among other issues.

Decided it was not worth fixing top end since motor had 216000 miles at this point. So i began the search for a new 30v engine. Finally i came across one with 126000 miles. Decided to put in new OEM clutch kit, spark plugs, spark plug wires, coil pack, timing belt, water pump, thermostat and motor mounts.

Here she is waiting for a new engine at friends

i know not everyone will be impressed since their arent many major modifications yet but you have to do maintenance first and trying to get her back to looking to her full glory!..anyway should have pictures of interior up soon as i need suggestions for some modifications. Also pictures of my new magnaflow 14815 and rear m3 lip will be up soon!

I've always been a proponent of maintenance before mods, so I approve. No sense having a lowered car with a sweet exhaust and an upgraded turbo if the timing belt that has 150k miles on it snaps and frags your motor
