not long ago i got this 2001 2.8l 30V Auto trans. with only 36,000 miles on it. Last week when I started a car it beeped an gave me CEL, OBD2 scanner shows P1815 - Pressure Control Solenoid 1 Short to B+, I believe it’s transition code coz on dashboard all of my transition positions is ON [PND12..] and my manual-gears (+/-) won’t work. I tried to delete code few times, but it keeps coming back in a min or so. CEL is ON and not flashing so I don’t think its that bad, but car runs like ****, must be some kind of limp mode. Short research on google before a came here didn’t help.

Hate dealers and before I go talk to auto mechanic and spent $$$ on him need some ideas and suggestion from you guys.

huh!? forced induction? boost gauge? why didnt i think of this, that's what cause a cel.............
1.8 in my sign is my car, 2.8 - car i'm working on and NO i dont have forced induction or boost gauge on it.

That means you number 1 shift solinoid has a short in the wiring. The car will immediately go into limp mode. You would have to pull of the transmission pan and check the wiring to the solinoid, or replace the solinoid alltogether.
