Gday folks. Hey question for you gurus out there. I’ve acquired a 2001 Audi A3 1.8t with an s3 interior. I am wondering is that interior would fit into the A4. I’m also going to swap the engine and transmission if it fits into the car. Both are manuals etc. has anyone done this before. Or am I wasting my time? Yes both are FWD. but for the price I paid for the Audi A3 it was cheap. Cheers hey.

 

I can’t confirm about the seats but I can say seats from and s4 will fit an a4 as I have these so it would be safe to say s3 seats fit an a3 and as for s3 seats in an a4 I’m not sure.

The engine I don’t see why it couldn’t be used with some modifications, manifold change etc but the transmission won’t be able to be used as a3 is transversal front wheel and your a4 is longitude front wheel so gear box is not usable.
