Default 2001 A4 coil springs/lowering

I have a 2001 A4 1.8T quattro. I am looking to lower it about 1.5". I picked up some coil springs from a local mechanic who pulled them off some lady's 1998 A4 who bought hers lowered but wanted them removed. He seemed pretty sure the front springs would fit but didn't seem too confident in the back ones fitting. Everything is stock on the car and I don't want to pay someone to do the work if they aren't going to fit. Any help is appreciated.

All B5 sedan springs are interchangeable. They will fit.

Ah damn good catch, thank you. All front sedan springs interchange but in the rear, Quattro and fwd do not.

Might also want to consider whether her car was a 1.8T or 2.8.
