Default 2001 a4 rims

i have a 2001 a4 with the stock a4 rims on them? What size are these, the reason im wondering is because i want to get some s4 or rs4 rims and i dont know if they will fit. I dont want to have to buy new tires in a different size because my tires are brand new?? Will they switch right over or no?

B5 S4 wheels are a direct bolt-up. RS4 wheels I'm not positive - if you get genuine RS4 wheels, you may need spacers. They make replica RS4 wheels in the proper offset for the B5 A4 though - if you get those (which is what a lot of people here have), you'll be able to bolt them right up as well.

You won't be able to use the tires on your stockers on the S4 wheels tho. If you have the same as I did they're 15" while stock wheels on B5 S4 were 17" and 18" on the later B6s. I believe the stock sport wheels were 17" so if you have those it may work.

If you look at your tires they will read something like 205/55R15 or R16 or R17. That last number is your wheel size. I know 16s and 17s were offered in '01;don't know about 15s.
