300 whp! ! !
Ok so ive ben thinking a lot and i have decided to just ask you guys and for your opinions.. What is the fastest, easiest, and cheapes way to get to 300 WHP? ? ?I have an 01' 1.8t quattro 5 speed... I already started with a full exhaust HFC nd 2.5" piping with magnaflow muffler and i also dropped in a K&N air filter.....I know im getting a GIAC chip nd 007 DV...with this I should be at around 250 right? well in the engine at least....soo any other suggestions or comments would help...
p.s will i need to upgrade turbos? and my car has 120k can it handdle the power?

no you can magicaly create more power from removing your turbo. its a neat trick.
if you had read any of the stickies you would know the answer to these questions.
il give you a hint- search for either gt28rs or gt2871 eliminator aka "elim" turbos
ps. you dont go from 170 hp to 250 hp by adding an chip, exhaust and a diverter valve. you will have between 210-225hp depending on the chip.

The elims will get you to 260-270whp on pump gas, over 300 on a race gas tune.
If you are interested in a elim hardware kit I sell them for $1450/$1549 shipped.

don't get GIAC if your going to get a bigger turbo. with the elim. kits you'll want unitronics or tapp for the chip. i don't think revo makes a tune for the b5, atleast thats whats been said in the past.
Actually GIAC is doing tuning now for Elims or larger, they are even doing the custom tuning for the Evolution Racewerks GT2871r kits.
Revo does have a BT file for the 2001-2001.5, I know because it was my customer that ended up being the first one to get it.

Most tuners offer upgrade discounts. So say you are running a K03 chip, you would get a discount for their K04 or BT tuning.

were talking about real world numbers here, not buffered product numbers.. with those mods he will be lucky to break 200wheel
