since you have the welding skills, do what A4Rob on audizine did and do custom widebody. it wouldn't take you long to do it since i know you have bodywork experience. that side exhaust is mean. why not do an S4 bumper and euro rear bumper?

Made a heat shield for the intake so that the exhaust manifolds don't heat soak my intake temps. turned out to be pretty cool engine covers too...

i know you cant tell by the pictures, but that is not simply an aluminum plate is it? you have the inside backed with a heat deflecting material i hope... if not you are not gaining yourself anything as that aluminum will just grab up all the heat in the area and radiate it off and since its right near the intake you are doing yourself no good!

you seem to be very knowledgeable though so i assume i am just preaching to the choir

yeah i have heat wrap fabric on the back of the intake side one, the metal is just there to give it a shape... I will probably make a composite mold from these eventually.

You'll be getting a PM from me very shortly. I've been reading yours and Siena's threads and soaking up as much knowledge as possible. My turbo is starting to go and like you, I want the power of a big turbo 4-banger with the reliability of a stock motor. So V8 it is. I'm gonna need some advice and such. Sooo excited!
