Default 5-speed Fluid Change

I've read the DIY on this and have the tools I need along with 3 quarts of Royal Purple Max-Gear 75w90. Is there anything else I need to be aware of?

You might try to get your car as level as possible. Also it's kinda tight getting the bottle in there. I cut a short piece of hose about 8" so I could get a better angle. (Way shorter that the post I put up.)

Break the fill bolt loose before you open the drain. And I've always filled them using 4-5' of hose. I thread it down from above down to the fill port. That way it's easier to drink beer while I fill the transmission. I spill my beer lying down and trying to drink it.

This quickly became a huge PITA, because the Royal Purple bottles have a small neck and the pump I already had won't fit. So I'm using another pump and it's really starting to aggravate me. This should have been a one man job, but now it's a two.

I did try that but I had no beer. So I got bored.
