perfect, well Ive got a VW dealer in my town but no audi but its all the same so ill make a visit ti them soon. Thanks again!

The VW Passat is pretty much mechanically that same car as a front wheel drive only version of an A4 of the same year model, so if you get VW oem'ed fluid for a Passat, it'll be the same stuff.

If your power steering has had improper fluid out in... or mixed with the original fluid, then you need to do a flush and refill with the proper stuff. There are some good DIY articles available on how to perform this procedure.

BTW, from what I've been reading, it takes two 1-liter containers of new fluid to do the job.

I bought two 1-liter cans of Pentosin CHF-11S to do my car, since the fluid in it is old and turned dark... but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll probably do that at the same time I do an upcoming control arm replacement job.

I'v got the quattro but if i get the chf-11s i should be good right?

Either the Pentosin CHF-11S or the VW/Audi part number G002000 (same stuff, that's just the OEM part number, it's made for VW/Audi by Pentosin and sold in a different container) will work.
