Default 96 2.8 Timing belt

Just got a 96 2.8 with 150k, it's in real nice shape and the pO has had it maintained properly. The Bently manual says to change the timing belt at 90k intervals. Is that what most people do? Looking through the forum it looks like they are changing every 30k or so. This is my first audi and need some real world advice.

yeah I would say 30k is overkill, but if you don't know when it was done last, its best to do it ASAP
