Have you performed a compression check on the motor since this incident? There may be evidence of a cracked cylinder head, poorly sealing head gasket or compression gasses finding their way into the cooling system through a perforated casting.

Yes first time I took it for him to do the timing belt he checked and it had good compression. It's not smoking out the tailpipe there's no coolant In the oil. Idk how it could crack the head the car never fully overheated it got 2 notches over halfway and I shut it off when it first started doin this

You may want to perform a compression test again just to eliminate the cylinder head or head gasket as possible causes.

You might also look at one of those sniffer tests. When you have coolant pushing out of the tank, you have to wonder if exhaust gasses are over pressurizing the system...those hydrocarbons would be left behind in the coolant.

Is it smoke inside the car, or steam? Heater core blown? You see smoke or steam under the hood when its open?

I'm pretty. Sure it was smoke but could be mistaken but ya when hood is open it smoking by coolant resv. Was blowing over in resv. But when your sitting parked with hood closed it's smoking through the vents and strong coolant smell heater core wasn't leaking prior to the start I all this job 2 weeks ago

When coolant blows out of the tank, it drips right on the driver's side ex manifold and makes a lot of smelly steam. That keeps making me wonder about head gasket.....

Right because I swap the resv and cap just to see . I mean unless it had to get a bubble out of it from when coolant dropped from originally blowing over maybe I should try it again and see if it just burp itself and blew excess. Cause if not I have to wait to take it to him till tomorrow but like I said no coolant in oil or anything
