Exclamation Raceland Coilovers for B5 is it reliable?

Audi A4 Coilovers | Audi Coilovers

Yes, its cheap. Other people on forum say, if its for "looks" get it. I won't lie, because its cheap, it caught my attention. Anything cheap now a days is a green go or red flag. lol

Is it reliable for a daily driver, to go home, work, and school?
Like, its not going to break or anything right or wear out quick?
Is it reliable?
Is it durable?
What can you compare it to? and Why?
Whats the pros and cons?
Is cheap really bad, especially if the car is not intended for racing?

Sorry, so much questions. I hope you guys can help me out.

You get what you pay for and thats all there is to it. If you dont want to spend much more than that then but some H&R race springs. They give you a decent drop and will last a hell of a lot longer than some $300 coilovers. Why cheap out on such a vital part of the car? save up and buy some quality coilovers. the car will thank you, your back will save you, and your sanity will thank you. Unless you're going for the "#hellaflush#illest#rs4#YOLO#omaha#1%er#dgaf#hard. parking.for.life look. then by all means... go for it. but honestly who gives a **** what it looks like if it drives like donkey dick?

Couldn't agree more, those cheap coils will probably not even last a year before something goes wrong, and for that year you'll be bouncing around and bottoming out on everything because they're crap. There's a very good reason they cost less than half as much as other coils, you'll spend less money on the long run by buying good parts. I remember someone complaining about how their H&R coilovers lasted 200+k miles when they were supposed to be lifetime, those $300 coils probably won't even last a tenth of that time unless you drive on glass smooth roads.

The only reason people are saying to get them is because they've heard other people say they're fine, but the problem is these other people drive on them for a day and then give glowing reviews saying the coils are just as good as KW's or whatever because they didn't have any problems. What you don't often see is these same owners making a thread asking about coilover choices 2 months down the road because their cheap struts blew out or they got sick of the shitty ride. I don't even know how many times I've seen these coils for sale in the classified for stupid cheap because a strut or two blew, and yet they still look basically new.

Either do it right or don't do it at all.

I like what you said last, "either do it right or don't do it at all" that can pass as a quote. Thank you for the feedback, my goal at first is to save for ST COILOVERS from ECSTUNING. The price on the $300 cheap coilover kit was just a spark of the moment. It caught my eye and attention. Then again, having heard both of yal opinions. Your absolutely right. I'm still debating with H&R Springs on Blistein shocks Vs. ST coils?

Anyway, update on my car:Fuel supply line is broken. The person that had this car before installed a water hose. (picture is below) Yes I know, stupid idiot! I'm waiting for the Fuel supply line I purchased at ECS. It should get here this week. Aside from that, next week I'll order RS4 mounts for my A4. ECS said it will add horsepower? lol, I just want it for the quality. If it adds horsepower, all the more better

Stupid water hose...wth? was the guy thinking.

If anything, it might add power a little power back, but any gains would be so small I seriously doubt you'd feel it.

I think if you painted the M3 lip spoiler the color of your car, it would look fine. Also, if you upgrade your 2-piece headlights to 1-piece projectors, it will significantly help add that clean and simple look you are seeking.
