'98 A4 Audi Moonroof drainplug help
I need help locating the rear drain plug(s) in my 1998 A4 Audi. I know I have a moonroof leak problem since I tested it out with water but I cannot find where the water is suppose to enter from to drain in the rear (I can find the the exit though under my car). Meanwhile I can easily locate the front ones which doesn't help my problem since it leaks in the back. I'm hoping to air pressure clean it out but until I find it I cannot even attempt this. I'm starting to think I might have to remove the moonroof just to see it... If that's the case then how would I do this?
Funny story to how I realized I had this problem to begin with... I did the cheap $3ish dollar tube of silicone to fix my rear speakers (loose speaker cones) which worked btw saving myself money but when I removed the seat in the process of accessing the speakers I saw the puddle of water that accumulated in secret under the rear seat

1. DIY: Checking your water drains

Hope that helps.

In the trunk you can access the end of the drain tube the water comes out of if you want to blow air through backwards. I know that's the wrong direction but it would probably much easier to access than the other end of the tube. I had water running from the sunroof behind the seat on the passenger side in the rear. Turns out the drain tube had somehow become disconnected at the sunroof and water was running down the headliner to the seat. I was able to remove the trim on the B and C pillars, maybe a couple of other things but I can't remember, and pull down the headliner enough to put the tube back on. That might be worth checking out if blowing out the drain tube doesn't solve your problem.
