I am interested in the manual swap. I have read but not sure if the source is accurate but there is a DDL manual and a DJR manual from a 2.8 b5 engine. What do I need to have a manual transmission work in car that had an auto. Do anyone know anything or any links. thanks in advance.

 

Its not a hard tyask at all. You have fwd im guessing since you didnt say you were looking for an 01A. You just need to do the swap then acces a vag com to recode the trans.

 

yea I know, checking the fluid should have been the first thing.

 

Reading from Transmission identification by DJ Sures when you search audi ddl transmission should be the first on the top, its a pdf file. Theres different transmissions in there from what it says 01A DDL and DJR are awd transmissions.

Also guys im going from a DRN auto to a manual transmission.

Need as much info.
