Default Headlight Washer turned into fountain

Hi guys,

My passenger side headlight washer has recently turned into a fountain. It no longer aims at the headlight itself, but just shoots wiper fluid up instead. It's cold out now, so I don't have the patience to stand out there for a long time to see what's wrong with it, but when I did, it seems to be working properly except for the aim.

Has anyone else experienced this? It'll likely be a spring project once the weather gets warmer.

When you pull off the cover, you'll probably find the little sockets the ball-shaped nozles are in is cracked. The ball-nozle shoots out and you've got your symptoms. I bought these for $34...replaced both of mine a few weeks ago. So far: so good.

How difficult was the replacement? I'm guessing the whole front bumper had to come off, right?

Yes, the bumper comes off, which is only held on by two bolts. easy job.

Hardest part of the job is aiming them. I put my iPad on a ladder above the bumper and kept making videos of the jets shooting out till I had them aimed right.

Hmm, ok, definitely going to be a spring job, but seems easy enough. I just don't feel like freezing my butt off lol
