Hey everyone, im new to the forum and i've read all the newbie posts and all that good stuff. I want to buy a perfomance intake for my A4 and i was wondering where would be a good place to buy online...Thanks for your help.

 

you can get a cheap one from ebay.
I got my K&N short ram/CAI from amazon.

 

Thats what ive been looking at, just wondering if there was another company that made one, but i guess they are all pretty much the same...

 

yeah they are. or i guess you can just buy the cone filter (from K&N?) and make it yourself...

 

an intakes an intake. hose and filter. ebay.

 

All a performance intake does for these cars is let you hear your motor better and in the case of the 1.8s the turbos better.

 

go for the ebay one, i have it it mine. Preformance wise you get nothing but the sound and price are amazing

 

you will loose power if you dont get a heatshield with it. the stock airbox can easily flow more then 300hp

 

Where do i get a heat shield for it? i ordered the K&N one for cheap.

 

I think you have to make it yourself!!
idk of anyplace that sells them.
but there are a couple DIY's just gotta do a lil search...
