Default 99 2.8 quattro mods

I still have yet to get the car because the guy who is selling it has to put something in with the computer and a tire but anyways i was thinking of doing a k&n air filter system and a magnaflow performance muffler or should I just save up for a 2.7 s4 engine to drop into it? What's worth it

Read the FAQ. if you want to mod for power, get a 1.8T. If you want a 2.7, get an S4. Don't buy the non-performance model and then start trying to spend a lot of money modding it. A motor swap in these cars is a lot more involved than most, and will end up with a pricetag probably close to the cost of a stage 2 S4.

The FAQ will explain this stuff.

The only reason I put a "cold air intake" on my stock 2.8 was because the original airbox got smashed from a collision. Rebuilding and cleaning the heads will restore some power though!

I put mine on for the induction sound above 3500RPM, but mores for the fact that I'll never buy another air filter again.
