Default 99.5, 2.8 coolant leak I think

I know this is a common issue and tried to do some research but I cant find much for the 2.8 engine. Ok so I have some white smoke comming up from what appears to be underneath the coolant expansion tank. I checked underneath the tank and everything looked fine, from what I could tell the hoses looked fine. I just cant tell where its leaking and then dripping onto what is most likely the exhaust manifold and smoking. It happens after the car is warmed up and It really only gets strong when im stopped at a light or something. My main question is where are the 2.8's known to leak other than just a cracked hose? Im getting tired of smelling it every time I drive. I know that the 1.8's commonly leak from the coolant flange, but im not sure if the 2.8's have that part or not. Any common leak areas to check would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

-and yes I recently did a valve cover job

when was your last timing belt job? it could be possible that your water pump is leaking, but i dont know if it would still leak on the exhaust manifold if it was the water pump

Water pump is front and center on the block. OP, it's possible your coolant tank itself is cracked - I've seen it before.

check right under the coolant overflow tank. there is a low level sensor that connects. Mine was leaking at that connection. run your finger right under and check for wetness. Im still trying to figure how to fix mine. lol. Im thinking there is a bad seal or something. Cause the tank is not cracked.
