Default 99 A4 Quattro, possessed throttle body???

OK 99 A4 1.8 when I give it gas, and hold it at any RPM it just revs and lets off to idle, revs and lets off to idle, like I'm doing it with the pedal , but I'm holding my foot steady So i scan the car and come up with only 2 codes under engine, 18010-Power Supply Terminal 30:Voltage Too Low-P1602-35-10. And then 17953, but won't tell you says Gotta pay for the upgraded version to find out what it is??? Can anyone tell me if it's got to do with the throttle situation.. Thanks

From Ross-Tech's website:
17953/P1545/005445 - Ross-Tech Wiki
Have you let your car sit for a couple minutes with key-on to let the throttle body align itself?

I tried the throttle body align thing, no good, any ideas what it might be, TPS problem? I see the Rosstech posting they show a throttle body alignment using the Vag Com, I just got the car, but the guy I got it from did mention it laying around with a dead battery and the TPS was changed out with a new one, but they never erased codes or throttle body align since they had no Vag Com.
Also what is Power Supply Terminal 30 mean?

Terminal 30 is a switched output terminal on the ignition switch. Power too low simply means what it says - momentarily, expected voltage/current was not seen. Could have been from a stalk, bogged takeoff, or a bouncing idle that allowed the revs to dip too low. It's basically of no consequence. Disconnect the battery for an hour, hook it back up, and turn on the key without cranking the engine. Let it sit 5 minutes, then fire it up. It'll take some time to run smoothly since you're putting the ECU in relearn mode but it will stabilize if a TPS misalignment is the cause of your issue.

This.

I had the same symptoms, but disconnecting the battery and waiting didn't fix it. The dealer said I needed a new ECU. Instead, I had them reset the ECU, clear the codes, and return the car to me--works fine.

Ok I cleaned the throttle body, popped the cover off the TPS to see if anything burned or dirty, looked good inside. Tried to do the throttle body alignment via the ignition key etc. no good, cleared the code but keeps popping bak up after the car idles for abt. 30 seconds, saying 17593 Throttle Controller Malfunction. As per Metal Man, checked out his post it tells you to use the Vag Com to do a Throttle Body alignment via several steps the VagCom put you thru, but I can't do it unless I pay 100 bucks to register my Vag Com. Do you guys think I need a new TPS, hate to spend a 100 bucks on the registration if it might not work, so I 'd rather put that money towards parts I need. Does anyone rebuild these TPS, I assume you have to get a whole new throttlle body as it's attached to it, maybe a used one?

My only input (which doesnt really help your problem) is that if I use a vag com to do a TBA with my '99 AEB, it gives me the same code. It wont clear itself until a month after, and if I do a TBA with the key to ON for 5 minutes it aligns fine. How long did you leave the key in the ON position? You should for like 5 minutes to be safe..

Ya I did it for like 5 minutes maybe a little more, my car idles fine, it's when you give it gas, it won't stay steady, pulsates up and down from a little above idle to abt. 3000 RPM, after that it calms down but it can't be driven by letting the clutch out at 3000 all the time, it's that sweet RPM area you use all the time thats doing it. I don't know if the TBA thru Vag Com will even cure this, so I'm hoping someone has had the same symptoms, and a cure. I'm starting to think my TPS is bad, but don't know if I can replace just that or need a whole new throttle body.

How do you reset the ECU?
