Check engine light on my car.. recently passed inspection in january.. not sure why or when it turned on.... took it to advanced auto parts and the code came back as P0422 - something about the catalytic converter + o2 sensor.. any suggestions on what to do? Just FYI the entire exhaust system (including new catalytic converter was replaced last year).....

My temp gauges are also not reading.. they stay on cold the entire time.. heat is strong + defrosting no problem... just the gauges are not reading the oil + engine temp....? Any suggestions.. I am audi newbie.. thank you for taking the time.

Car feels very strong and smooth.. seems like there are no mechanical problems....

you have a bad coolent sensor (guess) umm for 02 sensors you can get them for $80 eatch if you make the connectors yourself instead of paying $110 for eatch
