does audi a4 quattro 2.8, 1999, have air cabin filter or not??
I was looking for it and didn't found any.

 

mhhm left side of engine bay under secondary firewall cover thing black box held on by 8mm? bolt.

thanks guys, I found it, was reading but didn't see it at first.
When I took that bolt out and found filter, man, was dirty, and really need replacing.
Will go ahead today and buy me one and replace.

Makes a world of difference the previous owner of my car was a smoker, smeeled like cats *** until i finally thought to replace that. Smells like melons and sunshine in my car now

 

I just changed mine but on my old filter, there were hard plastic tabs either side at the long ends where as the new one just had filters the whole way across with no hard plastic at either end. Is the hard bit of plastic supposed to come off the old filter onto the new filter?
