Welcome to AF!

It looks like you got an interesting project going on and it's looking pretty good so far.
One question tho, are you modifying the existing hood or you're using one from a B7?

Please keep us updated with the progress.

so my buddy moved to Germany and found this picture (which i will post later...) of a B5 with a B7 huge single frame grille on it. To be honest i am a huge fan of the B5 body and looks but i thought it might have a very small chance at looking good....

anyways i ended up getting the kit for free so i think i'll at least try it out and hope for a half-way descent attempt at something unique.

There was a lot of very negative comments towards the idea of a B5 to B7 conversion which most likely stopped this kit from getting to the US...but like i said, I am going to attempt to make it look good so bare with me guys.....

THIS IS A VERY POOR LOOKING B5....THE GERMANS AT THIS AUTOSHOW HAVE STRANGE TASTE, BUT IT'S A SLIGHT PREVIEW TO WHAT YOU MIGHT SEE WITH MY PROJECT.

no the mesh is a joke....the finished product requires an A6 grille which i do not have yet. These first pics were merely a test fit of the actual bumper for designing mounting brackets/ supports. And thanks for the luck, i will definitely need it to overshadow the negativity on this project haha

I've seen this kit sold on eBay and sure enough we had a member (don't remember who it was) who asked for our opinions. Surprise-surprise, lots of negative comments were thrown.

I gotta give it to you for stepping above and aim for something different.

I'll be keeping my eyes on this thread.
