Hey guys, i have a rather serious question to ask. I have a 1999 a4 AUTOMATIC. Is there any point in adding any performance into an automatic car? Or should i just wait like 2 or 3 years and buy an s4 with a manual transmission and then start with the performance adding?

What engine do you have? Plenty of fast autos are out there. If you have a 1.8T you can easily mod and put 300hp through it. If you have a V6 power gains are VERY limited unless you pick up a supercharger. The V6 auto can handle that too.

I have a 1.8t. Are there any mods i can do to get some performance without blowing my whole bank account? People tell me about some apr stage 3 which is like 5 large and that's how much my a4 was when i bought it.
