Default a4 help needed

i have a 2001 a4 1.8t the car has 100,000 miles and i just replaced the main bearings and turbo due to previous owners lack of maintnance. the car has been fine for about 3 months but just recently it seems to be burning a lot of oil. like 1 quart every 2 weeks. i found traces of oil in the intake hose at the throttle body. any ideas as to what is causing this? thanks

i replaced with a new turbo. im getting a puff of grey colored smoke out exhaust when i rev the motor. also after an oil change the light came on after being on the interstate for a long period of time. i did not replace the turbo oil line but i think i replaced all of the gaskets. im really new with audi's. this is the only one i have ever had. i aquired it because the owners thought it to be blown up. it seems to be missing i think. but it doesnt lose boost when it misses? and there are no leaks on the motor or drops on the floor.

If you had to replace the turbo, the oil lines are probably clogged, which means your new turbo will be a very old turbo quick. Might want to look into replacing them. If you're burning a lot of oil, could be a bad piston ring, especially if you're getting some sputtering. Did you check the spark plugs for oil? Find one with oil on it, and that's probably where you'll need some new rings.

Theoretically, if you're pushing oil into the combustion chamber, it could be slipping through the intake valves on that cylinder and that's why you're finding it in the manifold.

Hopefully, I'm completely wrong, because you'll spend a lot of time and money on this repair... good luck!

I think a chip will solve all of your problems (well not really at all) but when you get this fixed (and do it soon) get in on the GIAC group buy!!!
