I have a 1999 A4 quatro 1.8t and am in need for a hood. I found one on the local craigslist but it just advertised as 1998 A4/S4 hood for sale and the seller has no idea the vin of the car it came off. My vin is >200000

you can use any hood from 1996-2001 as along as its a b5 audi or a s4 audi 1.8,2.8.2.7tt hoods all work with the car you can also try

The face lift B5 A4/S4 99.5+ have the sprayers under the hood, the B5 hoods before 99.5 has the spayers on the top. But other then that the hoods are the same.

 

Not sure where you are, but on vortex someones giving away a free hood in the classifieds, no dents it just needs to be reapinted i think
